TYPES OF ABUSE

Modern society is being constantly bombarded with noise. Some of it is totally unavoidable due to the location of the victim (where they live, where they work, etc..) and we generally learn to accept those even if we detest them. However, many aspects of audio abuse are avoidable and are created by selfish, self centred people who think only of themselves and could not care less about the discomfort their noise levels create for others. Young people (though not exclusively) are major offenders and it is not only in the home but it is also in the sound systems they fit to their vehicles which are often louder outside the vehicle (for those forced to listen) than it is within.
