TYPES OF ABUSE

This is an area of abuse that comes about because a person chooses to use their perceived/real celebrity status to gain power over others. Dominant in this area are males who will obtain the free sexual services of women because the women want to be with them. Such events start out innocently, in many cases, but often end up with some type of negative outcome (such as an unwanted pregnancy or a pack rape). The abuse is ultimately there, regardless of who may appear to have been to blame in the first instance. It is a very well known type of abuse with male sports stars and in the pop music culture. It must also be pointed out that it is not a "male only" domain.
