TYPES OF ABUSE

This is a very grey area of abuse as there are so many loopholes in places where legislation actually exists. This form of abuse occurs primarily to the families of a deceased person. Despite notification, the business or professional person continues to send mail or information to the deceased person, causing no end of anxiety to family members. Very little can be done about this as it is so very easy for the offender to say that they did not know or that it takes a period of time before the computer recognises that they are deceased.
