TYPES OF ABUSE

Certainly a rising form of abuse as we advance into this rapidly changing technological world. It is where the use of technology treats people with indifference (and even abusively). It is really difficult to describe the multiple ways that technology can abuse people (because it can also help people as well) but one major area is the way it is used. Especially when it comes from government and business areas where information is required for one reason or another and the only option available to people is to go online to do the necessary task. This is alright for those that have such access but even in western countries, less than 60% of people have genuine personal Internet access, so 40+% are actually being abused by not being able to do the required actions. Government is becoming notorious for this but not very far behind them is the financial world (especially banks) who are more and more expecting people to use the technology to do the essential things in life.
