TYPES OF ABUSE
43. HISTORY BASED ABUSE
The abuse being referred to here
is that relating to ongoing harassment and abuse because of historical
events that have occurred. The two major aspects of this are the pursuit
of war crimes against men and women who, reportedly, committed offences
against people during conflict, and the ongoing continuation of abuse that historically
occurred that may be of a racial or other origin.
WAR CRIME: This
category has become the ongoing method of abuse by groups of people
against individuals (usually) who may have committed a criminal act
against a person or persons during a time of conflict. While the action
that is being muted is not approved, the relentless pursuit if this
form of abuse by individuals and groups upon individuals who may have
committed these acts is, in fact, worse than the original crime itself.
Whilst the bringing of leaders to justice for such crimes may be
justified, the pursuit of individuals who, at the time, were under
orders, can only be described as abuse because, in most cases, these
people would have had no real choice in the matter and, depending upon
the individual circumstances, may have actually felt that they were
doing the right thing because of disinformation they were told. Acts
that occurred over 60 years ago cannot be genuinely pursued as who, in
all honesty, would truthfully remember all of the details.
ONGOING
HISTORICAL: This is the continuation of abuse that occurred
historically through some event (no matter what the origin) that is
kept alive through hatred, lies and disinformation. While much of this
abuse can be racially motivated, that is certainly not the only root
derivative of the ongoing abuse.
