page will contain links that we believe can either assist you in your
problem of abuse by providing you with alternate avenues for assistance
or recourse or they can supply you with an inspiration to move forward
in your life and put the past where it belongs, behind you. If you know of a link to something in your country that would be useful to the victims and families of abused people, please let us know so it can be listed here for others to make use of. |

| The Community Coalition Against Family Violence (CCAFV) | The Community Coalition Against Family Violence (CCAFV) serves two vital functions, in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico Counties, with much of our work divided under two programs: Victim Services and Prevention Education. National estimates project that one in three girls is sexually abused before the age of eighteen, and one in six boys. However, it is estimated that almost 75% legitimate cases go unreported at all. Without our help, victims would have to fend for themselves in an already-overloaded system, possibly not receiving any relief or healing. |

While not a site dealing just with abuse, there is certainly a great deal of information here for women in this country who are having to deal with abuse.. The organisation is an alliance of women's groups within the Philippines and is certainly a most valuable resource for people to refer to. There is information there on the fight against another form of abuse - the traffiking of women. | |

Since Focus on the Family's primary reason for existence is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a practical outreach to homes, we have firm beliefs about both the Christian faith and the importance of the family. This ministry is therefore based upon six guiding philosophies that are apparent at every level throughout the organization. These "pillars" are drawn from the wisdom of the Bible and the Judeo-Christian ethic, rather than from the humanistic notions of today's theorists. In short, Focus on the Family is a reflection of what we believe to be the recommendations of the Creator Himself, who ordained the family and gave it His blessing. |

We
are the Perverted-Justice
Foundation. Of course, those new to our
foundation likely have no idea what that means. This is a foundation
unlike most, if any, other foundations you'll ever run across. We're a
foundation that does not simply thunder about a problem, we don't
merely advocate or preach against an issue from a distance. No, our
foundation is a pro-active endeavor. We're aggressive. We're
confrontational. We believe you have to be to make a difference in the
fight against predators and pedophiles. We don't wring our hands and
say "they're so evil, what can be done!" We find a
way to get things done. |

Origins Inc. was founded in 1995 by a small group of mothers who, having lost their children to adoption, were being continuously re-traumatised each time so-called experts and health professional minimised and invalidated the severe emotional anguish, trauma, and grief left in the wake of their adoption experience, assuming that we, as mothers, should have accepted the loss of our living babies - as if it were possible to do that. |
