DON’T GIVE THE DEVIL POWER

The mind is always open for suggestions
It also asks so many questions
But sometimes our mind, is open to corruption
And our lives become full of disruption
The answer to that is, we allowed the devil in
Our lives then become chaotic and full of sin
Don’t give the devil any power
He can destroy your life within the hour
The devil leaves deep and malicious wounds
Devastation sets in, and your life seems doomed
Wickedness, criminal activities, immorality and abuse
These are the signs, that you have let the devil loose
Everyone should be living in peace and harmony
Not getting themselves wrapped up in pornography
The books you read can open the door
For Satan to come in and show his claws
The eyes are  the windows of your soul
Watching bad programs, can give the devil control
Beware of the company you keep, you are what you reap
I love music of all different kinds, but be warned
What your ears are listening to, could be porn
Your heart and soul, should be in the Lords control
If you fail to give Him your life, you could lose your soul

LOOK IN THE MIRROR

Look in the mirror and what do you see
A small wee child, like you used to be
Buried deep in your subconscious
There is this darkness hidden
Traumatized so severely
You close your eyes
But you see it all clearly
This secret is so agonizing
You try to shut it out, by disguising
Refusing to believe its there
Is not really at all surprising
Abused victims
Find it hard to face reality
Their mind can not cope
With the brutality
Rather then face the devil
They hide in a hole, like a rebel
Their pain has become their enemy
You must release it, it’s the only remedy
Give your heart to Jesus, He is your healer
The devil is the stealer
He comes to kill, destroy and maim
But Jesus comes for you, to claim
His blood was shed
So that you could be saved
Never again, will you be betrayed

GET RID OF THE TYRANT IN YOUR LIFE

We don’t have to act like fools
And get ourselves beaten up
By overpowering tyrants
Who stand over you and are cruel
They look like big ugly giants
They’re only tough
When nobody else is around
They’re like a snake
And slither back into the ground
The filth that comes
From their evil tongue
In some countries
They would be hung
You can get protection
From these bullies
From people who do
Understand you fully
Many people including us
Have suffered like you
We really do know
What you’re going through
You will receive sound advice
Valuable information at any price
You’ll have the right protection
And you will have a new direction
With plenty of encouragement
All you need to do is reach out
Make contact, do not be scared
There are plenty of people out there
Who really understand, and do care

SO CALLED RIGHTEOUS CHRISTIANS

So called, righteous Christians
Better start watching their step
This I mean seriously, with all due respect
From my own personal experience
My trust and faith was almost destroyed
What they appear to be, was not at all
Sadly this reflects, on the Christian Church
It turns many away, from their search
As I look back, I thank God for His grace
He understood, and took their place
Wolves in sheep’s clothing, please beware
They’re so full of lust, and you think they care
To use God for their own wicked gain
Is despicable, and more to their shame
Children have often been molested
By so called godly men, who are infested
Polluted, with so many infectious germs
So twisted, they’re like a can of worms
Pretending to be your faithful friend
Their evil wickedness will come to an end
They have the heart of a devil
And have fallen to this disgusting level
God will judge their wicked deeds
They’ve betrayed His love
For their own lustful, repulsive needs

TEENAGE DRUG ABUSE

Teenage children can be rather a handful
And very impressionable at that age
Drug abuse has become quite frightful
Because our kids think it’s the rage
My son’s mates at school, used to deal
I didn’t believe it at first, this can’t be real
My son was given drugs for free
That’s how they start them off you see
School is supposed to be a very safe place
This is shameful, and a disgrace
My son informed me what they did
He was given these drugs, by other kids
In school grounds, you would think they’re safe
This is far from the truth, they’re unsafe
And I’m still horrified as I remember
They were given drugs by their family members
They get them hooked, and all hell breaks loose
We lost so much stuff, my son became their goose
Stealing and dealing, became his way of life
He ended up going to jail; he was in so much strife
Those years for me, it was like a living nightmare
It was no dream, and I was really scared
In my sons early teens, I tried to seek assistance
The doors kept on closing, all I got was resistance
The police said their hands were tied, I just cried
If your children are going through a similar crisis
They need expert help, an accurate diagnosis
Drugs are very addictive, they need specialized care
Our love and support and plenty of prayer

WATCH OUT DEVIL

You think you can come in
And ruin our lives
But we are stronger now
And sick of your lies
All you have ever done
Is slaughter and devastate
Break our hearts and humiliate
Your joy comes
From our suffering and pain
Jesus has come
To wipe out your filthy name
You have no mercy or compassion
Completely evil
And you’re wicked, and a evil assassin
You are nothing
But a cruel cold blooded demon
All that comes from you
Is bloodsucking semen
Jesus is our Lord
And we stand in victory
Against your love
Of lust, and adultery
We are conquerors
In this battle against sin
And we declare Jesus as our king

HOW DO YOU REBUILD

Year after year nothing changes
Have you ever asked why?
You stay with that guy
Living with an alcoholic
Is quite dangerous
They can become very aggressive
And get overly possessive
My ex husband was really bad
Our situation, was actually sad
He would rather have a drink
Than put food on the table
Many times he fell on the floor
And hurt himself badly
He was very unstable
When the drink is in
The sense is out
If I tried to talk to him
He would scream and shout
We hardly had much money
It was like he didn’t care
All he did was tell dirty jokes
Believe me they were not funny
Many times he was in the car
He was as drunk as a skunk
I prayed he wouldn’t get far
Alcoholism is self inflicted
Just like illegal drugs
They become addictive
Your family is precious
Behaviour like this
Is treacherous
Accidents happen
And people get killed
Innocent lives lost
How do you rebuild

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS

Lay your burdens
At the foot of the cross
Jesus smiles
You’re no longer lost
I will restore
Your beauty for ashes
And destroy the evil
In all of your thrashings
My arms will protect you
Where ever you go
You’ll feel my peace
And you will know
I will never fail you
And I’m always there
To heal your broken heart
Through your tears
Of your prayers
I gave my life
For all of your pleading
My skin was gashed
For all of your beatings
A crown of thorns
Twisted onto my head
Torn apart, my heart bled
For all of your brokenness
And to break your hearts, of stone
No more rejection
So you’re not alone
As I hung there on the cross
I paid for your cost
Crucified for your sins
To saved your skins
Groaning in agony
For your shame and blame
That is the reason, why I came

FORGIVENESS IS NECESSARY

After many years
Of abuse and rejection
You build up a resistance
Of lack of affection
It’s like having
A deep wound in your heart
That’s covered up
But that is not very smart
Abused victims
Need to communicate
Anger and bitterness
Soon turns to hate
Inside you, it’s like a volcano
Ready to explode
You’re showing disturbing signs
The pressure is too bigger load
Forgiveness
Is the only way, of release
It opens the door, for inner peace
Hate or feelings of revenge
Will not help you heal
Especially if you avenge
Jesus says pray
For those who persecute you
Forgive, let go and let it rest
It will be you in the end
That will benefit and be blessed

ENCOURAGEMENT IS THE ONLY WAY

Rejection can affect us in different ways
We should listen to our kids in what they say
Don’t make them feel bad, by pushing them away
Or telling them they’re a nuisance, go out and play
This can affect the way that they behave
Psychologically it can be very distressing
Make them feel that they’re a blessing
Children need to feel that they’re loved
Not told to get out side or shoved
They need us to be interested; in what they do
Confidence wise it helps them get through
Growing up is difficult enough
And at times, the going gets really rough
To survive, you really have to strive
Expectations these days are pretty high
Not every child, has the same ability
And many have serious learning difficulties
Schooling can be stressful, and some parents
Expect you to become successful
Many children get treated badly
Because of their difficulties, sadly
Show some compassion, that you really care
Never compare, that’s not fair
Encouragement is all they need
And you will find they will succeed

TORMENTED MIND

A little boy, growing up with his dreams
Loses his mother in a drowning accident
Devastated by the lost of his mum, he screams
His mind cannot comprehend why
He sobs bitterly and just continues to cry
A broken heart with one so young
His little life has only really, just begun
This little boy, has a sister and a brother
But nobody will every replace his mother
At a young teenage boy, he then loses an eye
His Dad didn’t care for him, that made him cry
His Father rejected him, after his mum died
Nothing seem to go right since then
And he wondered why
But then there was more strife
As a young man, he found himself a wife
Sadly they had a handicap child
He couldn’t cope with that for a long while
That marriage ended, his wife went crazy
His mind started to become hazy
And he wasn’t thinking clearly
His spirit was being crush severely
Later on in his life he remarried
But it didn’t last, after seventeen years
He lost his home, his family, he was in tears
This man worked, so hard for his family
But his wife stopped loving him sadly
Now he is divorced, but his mind is a mess
Please God help him, he needs a rest
Put hope back in his heart
And give him a reason to live
He’s had it really bad, since he’s been a kid

OPEN YOUR HEART

Lord, fill my family’s hearts to the brim
Let them feel your Holy Spirit within
All their suffering and all their pain
Jesus you took it all, and then made your claim
Our families belong to you
Jesus is the heart of our life, in all that we do
If you follow the devil, he backstabs you with a knife
He seeks out to destroy and ruin your life
Our children need direction and our protection
Don’t take away their fighting spirit to succeed
It may stop them forever and take away their dream
He paid the price, in suffering for our sin
If you surrender all, your true life will begin
Talk with him, walk with him, and let him come in
A new creation you will be within

TIME DOES HEAL

Desperate to forget the past
And look forward
To a new beginning
There is only one way
This is to obey
And all former things
Will be cast away
God’s grace
Is sufficient for thee
And in your weakness
If only you believe
Time does heal
And the pain does fade
Just give Jesus a chance
And you’re on your way
There is no need
To fear, or to be afraid
If you’re under attack
All you do is pray
God always listens
While you have your say
Be sincere, you’ll be okay
Put all your trust in him
And the Holy Spirit will move in
The devil will move out, without a doubt
Keep praising the Lord and you will see
Those miserable devils will get out and flee

SOMETIMES

Sometimes when our heart wounds are deep
Our words are bitter, instead of sweet
Sometimes when we speak cruel words
They can slash the heart, but the Lord has heard
Sometimes our actions make people sad
So much so, that they feel bad
Sometimes we need to look deep inside
Confess our sins, instead we hide
Sometimes we need to pray
And not hurt people with what we say
Sometimes we need to ask God and seek His word
Reach out to someone, who hasn’t heard.

CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IS ON THE RISE

More young people are at risk of being exploited

Internet child pornography is on the rise
And children are not being monitored, this is no surprise
These perverted predators, conceal their true identity
Unsuspecting children, don’t see through this obscenity
The Internet, has become a place for online stalkers
They’re masters of evil, cunning sweet talkers
And they used every calculating trick in the book
Beware of the danger; it could be your child that is hooked
Our cities are filled with drug addicts and dealers
Desperate for money, they become blackmailers
They target our kids, for prostitution
Our streets are filled with their pollution
It could be your child or family member
If your child gets defiled, they’ll always remember
Darkness set in, everything seems cold within
Their trust has been violated, it’s a dreadful sin
Children at any age are under threat
Abuse of this kind, they never forget

JESUS HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE

Through Adam
Everyone inherits death
His seed is cursed
Until our last breath
Jesus conquered death
And rose from the grave
And those who believe
Shall be saved
His terrible beatings
And his body ripped apart
He did it for us
For a brand new start
His ravaged face
Was soon to be replaced
By God’s glorious power
And his amazing grace
Instead of discouragement
He gives encouragement
If you’re condemned
The Lord is there to mend
Justice will be done
For the suffering and pain
The guilt and the shame
For those brutally abused
Your enemies
Will not be excused
Where there is trouble
He takes away the strife
And where there is no hope
God offers eternal life

HIS LIGHT SHINES FORTH

Amongst the reeds
Tall and slender
God’s light comes forth
In all its glorious splendor
The thorns and thistles
That chokes our growth
Will be shattered
Like a powerful missile
God’s promises will stand strong
He will make everything right
In all, that has been done wrong
The Savior of the world
Will come with his sword and shield
All evil will be destroyed, as it’s revealed
He has heard the cries of all the afflicted
His word will come true, it’s been predicted
The devil has lost his ground
God’s Army of Angels, now abounds
Be victorious, the battle has been won
Thank you Lord for your wonderful Son

HIS CHILDREN, HE SHARED FOR US TO CARE

Jesus loves His little children
All over the world
Red or yellow, black and white
They are all treasured in his sight
Jesus said
Let all the children come unto me
Do not forbid them
Or the wrath of God will come upon thee
Thank the Lord
For your children every day
Teach them to love God
And to pray
It’s in the womb
That a miracle takes place
A blessing
Of God’s brilliant creation
Is given by his glorious grace
God made us
Wonderfully and complete
Beautifully designed
And so very neat
It’s only through sin
That our children suffer
Fill them with gentleness
Not aggressiveness
Sinfulness
Causes them to grow up rougher
God trusted us
And placed them in our care
They’re His children
For us to share

SHADOWS OF THE MIND

Dark shadows all around me
Like you’re in a dark forest full of trees
No matter which way your turn
You cannot find your way out to see
Every thing seems to be soaring
I find this darkness overpowering
Evilness surrounds me, like a dark gloomy cloud
It feels like I’m buried under a black heavy shroud
Help me Lord to find my way
Guide me through, by your light of day
I need you Lord to make my path straight
Lead me to righteousness, before it’s too late

I am the Lord, your strong tower
You will overcome, under my power
Do not let your heart be troubled
For I am with you all of the way
Even though you walk through this dark valley
You will fear no evil, I am with you
In every dark murky alley
I will replace peace for your fear
And you will know that I’m near
Believe by faith and trust in me always
For every step you take down your pathway
My light will be a lamp to your feet
And at  the end of this path, we will meet

GIVE THEM KINDNESS, NOT RAGE

A little sad face
He looks down in the dumps
I noticed, some bruising
It looks like he’s had a hard thump
Tears start to roll down his cheeks
He looks up, over his hat and peeps
As I looked down at this poor little waif
My heart went out to him
I just wanted him, to feel safe
His Daddy had punch him to the floor
And told him he didn’t love him anymore
I sat beside him, he needed some comforting
It’s awful to see, this lad suffering
Sometimes Dads, can be very heavy handed
And say hurtful words, which are offhanded
We need to be careful, in what we do and say
It can do so much damage and drive your kids away
Children are very sensitive, at this tender age
Show some kindness, don’t show them rage
We are all aware that children do wrong things
It’s the way we handle it, that matters
So we don’t damage them within
Anger shows them violence,
Aggression and hostility teaches them defiance
Our children are precious
They have the right to be loved
Instead of hitting them, give them a hug
Hugs are like a thousand words
At least they know you love them
And in their hearts, their stirred
