THE DEVIL HATES OUR PRAISE We can take God for granted And some use him For their own Special gain Many Christians Have done this As Satan has led Them astray The battle Can be won When you give Thanks to the Son Glorify his Name always The devil Hates our praise Call on His Holy name And never Be ashamed Jesus has borne Our grief's And carried Our sorrows He gave us hope So we Would follow Give praise For the good times And even the bad God heals our hearts When we’ve been Very sad In life We do have To learn We will overcome All our concerns Hand them To the Lord He will help for sure © Natalie Price August 2009 |

BEING GAY IS NOT OKAY Depraved and defiled This act is so vile Being gay is not okay Its abomination Against God No matter what You say If you were born That way then Get down on your Knees and Start to pray We were also Born into sin but it Doesn’t give us The right To continue the sin We have to pray And ask God To help us not Sin that way We want a Stable society Not full of corruption And impropriety God made us Male and female Think of our children And not your own Evil pleasures They’re our future And should be treated Like treasures I oppose the Marriage equality bill I pray that God Will have his will We don’t want A sick minded society Full of evilness So you can enjoy A sexual variety What will You want next Our children for sex We will stand up And fight So our children Will have what is right © Natalie Price August 2009 This poem I actually sent to the government protesting against the Marriage equality bill for 2009 (Australia). This is the letter that accompanied the poem. The government uses the Bible in our Court systems, so I think its appropriate to send a scripture in the Bible that backs up this email below with God's word. THE LORD WALKS AWAY FROM HEARTS FULL OF GREED Stealing from the hand That feeds you Is a lousy thing to do People make excuses But in the end They are the losers It does not pay to steal One day you Will get caught And all will be revealed Charitable organizations Have to battle to survive But when a low life Comes along and steals It’s hard for them To thrive These people give Their time and money Helping people in need If you keep on Stealing from them They’ll have to leave You will be the Losers in the end As well as losing Some very helpful friends Don’t take More than you need God supplies all our needs And if you’re really hungry There will always be a feed But the Lord will walk away From hearts full of greed Wait on the Lord And you will be blessed You’ll never be hungry He takes care Of the oppressed © Natalie Price August 2009 |

| HOW DARE THEY Sometimes I feel Like blowing my top But praise God I know when to stop In my Christian walk I often hear Christians talk And some of the things They say Don't really do much For anyone's day No wonder so many Walk away from The church When Christians Act this way It's time we get Down on our knees And pray Fancy be disowned By a church For getting a divorce One day they will Have to answer to God For taking that Kind of course How dare they judge No wonder so many Take a grudge Then you get Christians Who think they have So many rights To talk to people How they like They use their position And they don't have God's permission To attack others Including the musicians Hypocrisy is something I cannot stand How dare they disobey God's command We are to love one another This is what God planned © Natalie Price September 2009 |

| OLDER FOLK IN DESPAIR Growing old is No fun for some This little old lady Sits in her home Feeling the cold And so alone She worries That she cannot Make ends meet So she cuts down On all areas of Her keep Suffering with Health problems And high cost In care is all she Worries about As she lives in fear Her house is freezing You can Hear her sneezing She finds it hard To cope alone And she can Barely get by Looking after Her home This could be Some one you know How sad for this lady She is in pain And it shows With rising costs And heavy demands These older folk Need a helping hand Our governments Don’t seem to care It’s unthinkable When you see Our older folk Living under This kind of despair © Natalie Price September 2009 |
